Using the small commutator motor of which the type differed, verification experiment of rolling mechanism was carried out. The result showed rotating, even if only the rotor is energized. Then, it was confirmed that the rotation's direction in this case was reverse direction in usual case. The magnetic flux density distribution in field coil and stator was measured in order to examine this reason.
