I attempt to analize these substitutions and periods of integrated studies in the vocational high schools by survey of the curriculums. The majority of the vocational high schools sbutitute project studies for periods of integrated studies. But most of others set up both of project studies and periods of integrated studies. Commercial high schools more often set up the two than other vocational high schools. In some prefectures all vocational high schools set up periods of integrated studies but in other prefectures none of the vocational high schools
