Additionally, a generator using geomagnetism is described. The cognitive disharmony (surprise, conflict, lack of coordination) was recognized, and this played a role in further understanding of the experiment. In the preparation of this teaching experiment we emphasized a feeling for the phenomenon and the operating principle. In the case of the motor it was possible to observe that rotation direction and rotational state could be changed by changing the magnetic position and polarity by hand: the result was produced experimentally by rearranging parts in the Mabuchi motor. In power generation we worked toward a minimum size. And, the relationship between force and power generation was understood from the experience of the force in moving right and left.
